To start a search – or Pipeline – from any screen, select the type of search to make from the Start a Search menu.
There are three types of searches that Sellerbility can be conduct:
1. Search By Category; choose from the categories and sub-categories on Amazon that Sellerbility can scan for deals
2. Search By Retailer; Sellerbility can scan dozens of different retailers and cross-reference products with Amazon listings to assess their deal-worthiness
3. Search By Wholesaler; upload the price list from a Wholesaler for Sellerbility to scan Amazon for listings and find any likely deals
Select which type of search from the menu.
To start a search by category, either search for a specific category using the search bar at the top, or pick a category from the ones onscreen.
If a category has one or more sub-categories, they will show at the bottom of the categories screen. If you select multiple categories all sub-categories for all of them will open.
For sub-categories that have further sub-categories these will open at the bottom until the final one is reached.
Simply select the categories and/or sub-categories to be scanned for deals. Sellerbility will scan all the categories selected in one search.
It is worth considering that the more categories that are included in one search, the longer it is likely to take.
Depending on the plan in place up to five pipelines can run at one time.
Below the search bar the number of categories chosen to scan will show as Target items.
Click on Start, next to the search bar, to begin a scan.
To have Sellerbility scan retailers for deals on products to be sold on Amazon, select By Retailer in the menu.
Much like scanning by category, select the retailer(s) and click on Start to begin the scan.
Underneath the list of retailers available any selected retailers will show with a new box. If there are known shipping costs, or there are store-wide discounts to add, enter them here before clicking Start so that Sellerbility will include them in the results.
To start a scan of a Wholesaler, upload the price list on the By Wholesaler page.
The file will need to be in .csv or .xlsx format and contain at least the name of the product and price for Sellerbility to match it with listings on Amazon.
To review the status of a search select Active in the Searches section of the side menu. If more searches than the user’s plan allows have been started, the additional pipelines will be shown in the Queued section.
For any active searches a box will show with details of the progress of the scan, how many deals have been found – and the option to open the results found to that point – as well as a button to stop the scan completely.
