All Amazon sellers are “gated” from selling in many brands and categories on the platform, so it is not unusual to see Sellerbility results with products that require addition permission to sell on Amazon.
Sellerbility users can use these products to potentially grow the range of product types users can sell.
When a deal box shows the Apply to Sell button, Sellerbility offer a direct link to check if Amazon will automatically un-gate the item – or even the brand or category it falls into.
Amazon will, from time to time, reevaluate performance of a seller account and be more open to approving new categories for them to sell in. They don’t, however, notify sellers of this unless they actively apply to them.
Click on Apply to Sell and if Amazon are happy to make that category – or at times brand – available they will instantly do so.
Click on the refresh icon next to Apply to Sell to check if permission has been actioned by Amazon as it can take a few moments for them to update an account.
If that brand or category are still restricted, Sellerbility will shortcut to the correct Amazon page for the user to request approval to sell.
Follow the instructions Amazon provide to start opening doors to selling a wider range of products.
