In the process of matching a product and Amazon listing in seconds, occasionally there can be product mismatches.
Clever as the Sellerbility AI is, if either the retailer or the creator of the Amazon listing have created their own descriptions or mis-entered identifying information, a mismatch can occur.
In the example above, the two items β albeit very similar β are not a match.
Simply click on the warning triangle icon on the top right to notify the Sellerbility team that it should be removed. Once a mismatch has been reported the triangle will turn green.
There is also a function to report a mismatched image. If the products are the same but the images do not match the product then use the warning triangle next to the retailer image.
NOTE: If the mismatched image is simply a different angle or view of the same product, or just alternative packaging β as with the image above β these do not need to be reported. Retailers and Amazon often use different images of the same product.
One of the more common occurrences, that may appear to be a mismatch, is when the product is the same but the pack quantity is not. In these instances, before reporting it to Sellerbility, do a little due diligence and check out the listing on both the retailer and on Amazon.
Retailers may offer multi-buy deals, or there may be available voucher codes that could make creating a multi-pack a profitable deal.
It would also be worth analyzing the Amazon listing with BuyBotPro to see if its history shows that it might become a more viable deal in future. Multi-pack or bundle listings often have fewer sellers and therefore be more likely to have volatile selling prices.
