Costs can be different for every seller when selling on Amazon, especially with some choosing to take different fees and costs into account at different stages of the process.

In the Searches tab in Settings, users can enter the costs and fees specific to them, and choose which ones are applied by Sellerbility in deal calculations.

NOTE: The fees Amazon apply will be automatically calculated by Sellerbility. The costs and fees entered here are ONLY for fees incurred in addition to Amazon’s fees.

The Prep Fee, Bundle Prep Fee, Shipping Costs and Extra Fees data will be specific to each user. Each might have their own prep centre or prep costs they incur, or any other non-standard costs such as postage, storage or materials when making deal calculations.

Choosing the correct VAT settings can make a big difference to the profitability of products on Amazon.

For example, the above deal found by Sellerbility was calculated based on the seller being VAT registered in the UK.

If they are not VAT registered, and had altered the setting to Not Applicable they would see these results. A significant difference in so it is important to have the correct settings in place before starting searches.

For those operating in a different VAT rate, the VAT Override setting allows them to enter the correct one for them and it will override what they already have set up.

The ROI Method that is selected will dictate which of the fees are taken into account, and how.

Click on the blue ROI Calculation tab to see the different ROI Method options, and choose the one that best fits the costs and fees to be applied in Sellerbility’s deal calculation.

Method 4 is the most commonly used in the UK as it accounts for all fees and VAT, resulting in the most accurate calculation in reflecting the final profit of an ASIN.

Once any changes have been made click on Save Financial Settings to apply them to subsequent search results.
