The Journey tab is an overview of all the stages an item will go through on Amazon, making it especially easy to track where an unsellable or returning item is in the fulfilment process.

The first two columns – Product Ordered and Product Received – details any inventory yet to arrive in stock, or that have been received. This could mean it has been received by the seller or a prep center.

The Product Ordered quantities are generated from any new incoming stock that has been ordered and added using the replenish feature in the Inventory tab. It is also easy to quick-add newly ordered products in the Journey tab. Click on the icon and input the quantity and buy price, and then Save.

To manually enter Product Received, add the total quantity and buy price, and additionally the sellable quantity. This can be different to the total if damaged items were received, or if the plan is to hold some of the stock back from Amazon to sell at a later date.

The Shipped to Amazon and Received at Amazon popups break down recent shipments of that SKU, with details of when and to where shipments were sent and received.

Crucially, SKUify automatically flags any damaged, defective, or expired stock at Fulfilment Centers. If an unsellable item appears here, then it will also appear in the Reconciliation tab where any required or recommended follow up can be actioned.

Any stranded inventory shows in the corresponding column and – depending on the reason – will also appear in the Reconciliation tab.

The Refunded and Returned columns are the quickest way to track what are often difficult-to-follow returns.

In the examples above, SKUify has flagged two different scenarios. In the first, four items have been returned in one shipment. The return shipment has been received and is showing as having been credited back to the Inventory, ready to sell again with no issues.

In the second, there are outstanding issues. Clicking on the Products Refunded icon shows that two individual units have been returned in separate shipments, one several weeks before the first.

SKUify has flagged that neither have been received or returned to inventory. At the very least the older return is likely to need investigating with Amazon.

To find specific SKUs in the Journey tab, use the search bar at the top – enter the SKU, ASIN or name.

Clicking on the SKU image opens the Amazon listing page in a new tab, or tapping the name, ASIN or SKU and they will be saved to the clipboard.
