SKUify works for all Online Arbitrage models. However, FBM/Merchant Fulfilled sellers have different costs and fees to consider than FBA sellers and, to get accurate results, will need to set up SKUify to reflect this.

Even if a seller sells using both FBA and FBM models, even if they have only one FBM listing, it is going to be important to set up their account for any FBM SKUs to be accurately calculated.

Cost Of Goods

In the Cost of Goods Sold Information tab, select FBM at the top of the COGs table. The costs entered in this screen will be applied ONLY to sales made on FBM SKUs.

The COGs entered on this screen will be applied to all newly added SKUs. If an individual SKU has costs specific to them, they can be manually added in the COG column in the Inventory tab.

For each cost type add a Start Date by clicking on the date. Do the same in the End Date column – if there is no finite end to the cost simply add a distant future date. Input the cost amount, and select whether the cost is VATable.

One of the costs that doesn’t apply to FBA sellers, but can to FBM sellers, is VAT Free Shipping. This won’t apply to all FBM sellers, but some postage and shipping costs can be exempt from VAT even if they are VAT registered. Check with shipping partners to find out if these services are available from them.

Click on Update to apply the costs.

Merchant Shipping Plans

Merchant shipping plans are automatically detected and applied when an FBM SKU has been sold, if the plan has been added into SKUify.

In the Merchant Shipping Plans tab, copy the information from a shipping plan that has been set up in Seller Central.

Enter the details exactly as they have been set up with Amazon – the name must match for SKUify to detect it – and the costs will be automatically assigned to an FBM sale.

Click on Update to add the shipping plan to SKUify so it can be added to corresponding sales.

Click on Add/Delete to create a new line and add a new plan, or to delete the shipping plan on that line.

Repricing

Managing repricing through SKUify is no different for FBM sellers than FBA sellers thanks to Profit Protector Pro’s MF strategies.

Profit Protector Pro users can reprice from within SKUify – once they have added it as an integration – in the Repricing tab. Minimum and maximum prices, break even and setting of strategies can all be managed here.

Profit Protector Pro include a range of AI-powered, pre-programmed strategies specifically written for Merchant Fulfilled SKUs.
