How To Set Up An Item For Repricing, In Advance

You can manually add products to Profit Protector Pro/set them up in advance via a variety of methods.

1. The Profit Protector Pro Chrome Extension

On any Amazon item page, the extension will appear (provided it is pinned to chrome).
To ensure the new SKU is added, please check that ' Add a new SKU' is selected in the SKU field.
To edit an existing SKU you already have in PPP, ensure the page you are on is of the very same product, you can select the SKU to edit from the drop down menu in the SKU field.

Then proceed to enter in the buy price.

You can use the VAT Override if you are working with a different VAT rate.

You can also click on 'settings' to head into your PPP settings to make any changes that may need doing.
You can toggle on your European marketplace setting toggle too to have Profit Protector Pro take this into account.
You can also toggle the item to FBA or FBM depending on which fulfilment method is applicable to the product.

You can enter in your min, max and break even prices as well as being able to set the repricing strategy.
Use of the auto min/max function can be applied here as well if the rules are set up within Profit Protector Pro, just ensure the 'calculate' toggle is switched on in the extension for each marketplace you'd like the min/max to be calculated for.

Press 'Save in PPP' to then export the product to Profit Protector Pro, and it'll appear there straight away. All PPP will need from there is to get the SKU from Amazon and it'll begin repricing straight away without any further action required from yourself.

2. The BuyBotPro/Profit Protector Pro Integration

If you have both BuyBotPro and Profit Protector Pro, you can utilise the integration once you've added your PPP secret key to the BuyBotPro settings and saved the changes.

This works similarly to the chrome extension whereby you can add your min/max and strategy.

The bonus is, BuyBotPro will tell you the highest price the item sold for. Clicking the blue arrow will set that price as the max price for each marketplace.

It's important to ensure your settings between PPP and BBP are the same for consistency across the platforms. The integration will make you aware of if they are or not, hovering over the orange warning will tell you which settings are different.

Again, press 'save in PPP' to send the item to Profit Protector Pro once ready.

3. The Blank Template CSV

This option offers the same principle as the chrome extension and integration, except you can add products in bulk if you wish.

There is a full tutorial on how to use the spreadsheets in the videos at the top of the 'Bulk Inventory' page, or in the Training videos section in the 'Help' section.

You can then enter in the information for the item(s) in the spreadsheet.

You won't need to enter in the SKU, as Profit Protector Pro gets this information from Amazon.

Don't forget to use the key tables in the Bulk Inventory section to help you with entering in the strategies, and various toggle options.

When you're ready, save the sheet, ensure it remains as a CSV and upload to Profit Protector Pro.
