We’ve built safeguards to ensure the content on Featured remains authentic, trustworthy, and valuable for publishers and journalists.
Here’s what goes into that:
1. Featured AI responses are never sent blindly
Drafts are created using the expert’s own curated knowledge base and past answers.
Every draft is reviewed, edited, and approved by the expert before submission.
If an expert approves an AI draft without making edits, it’s marked as AI-generated. We encourage experts to add their own experiences, examples, and perspectives so responses go beyond the baseline and truly reflect their expertise. For best results, experts should focus on reducing the AI-likelihood score by reworking drafts to incorporate personal insights, anecdotes, and specific details that resonate with publisher expectations.
2. Built-in AI detection
All answers are scanned with Pangram AI, the industry’s most accurate detection tool.
AI-likelihood scores are displayed so publishers can quickly assess authenticity.
Experts who use Featured AI are subject to their response being checked by Pangram, just like everyone else on the platform.
3. Publisher control
When submitting a request, publishers can check “No AI Responses” to skip any high-likelihood AI answers.
Even without the filter, publishers can see an AI Likelihood score for every response and choose to skip any responses that don’t meet their standards.
Publishers and journalists can select “No AI responses” when submitting requests to automatically skip AI-generated submissions. Publishers and journalists can still view these responses, if needed.
4. Expert vetting remains unchanged
Profile verification checks confirm each expert’s identity and background.
Publishers can mute or report experts anytime to ensure they only receive quotes from trusted sources.
Bottom line: Featured AI helps experts save time while giving publishers the tools to ensure every quote they receive is authentic, relevant, and high-quality.

All answer submissions on Featured are through Panagram, an AI detection tool. You are able to see an AI-likeness score for each submission. Responses submitted using Featured AI are not exempt from this check. There is no specific Featured AI filter at this time.

Yes! When submitting a Quotes request, you can check the No AI Responses box. This means we will automatically skip showing you responses with AI likelihood scores of 70% or higher.
You can always access the responses we hide if desired.
