Fernwayer pays affiliate commission through Stripe Connect (Express) — a secure, global payout system used by major marketplaces — sending your commission directly to your local bank account, in your local currency.
You don't need a business or company to receive commission. A personal bank account in your name is enough. A business account, or a Wise multi-currency account, works too.
A few important things
Stripe Connect (Express) is not the same as a standard Stripe account.
Don't create an account directly on stripe.com to receive Fernwayer commission.
You must use the personalized invite link Fernwayer provides — it's the only link that connects your Stripe account to Fernwayer.
Setting up for the first time
Your Stripe Express invite link is sent only after you've signed up and accepted the Terms of Use. Once you have, Fernwayer sends you a personalized Stripe Express invite link. Setup takes about five minutes. Have these ready:
Your bank account details
A valid government-issued ID
A phone number (you'll receive a one-time passcode by text)
Setup steps
Click the invite link in your email. It first takes you to the Fernwayer website — sign in to your affiliate account. This confirms to Stripe that you're an authorized Fernwayer affiliate.
Return to the email and click the link again. This time it takes you to Stripe Express to complete setup.
Match your country. Make sure the country of your bank account matches what you select in Stripe's country dropdown, so the right bank fields appear.
Stripe verifies your account and notifies us once you're set up.
Accessing your account later
Once you're set up, you can reach your Stripe Express dashboard any time through the login link Stripe emails you. There you can check payout status, update your bank details, and download tax or payment records.
