Sales Managers have the ability to manually change a specific component of offer tickets through Discount Overrides, such as Ticket Type, Buyer Type ID, and Payment Method ID. Applied changes will show on sales in your ticketing provider system.
Ticketmaster: Reservation and open inventory offers
Override Available: Ticket Type Code
Example: Junior Jazz Redemption Program
Setup: Apply the Ticket Type ID override to just the discounted tickets only (i.e., the 1 free ticket in a BOGO offer) OR to all tickets in the discount parameters (i.e., both tickets in a BOGO offer).
Tickets.com: Open inventory offers only
Overrides Available: Buyer Type ID, Payment Method ID
Example: MLB Commissioner Initiative
Setup: Apply the Buyer Type ID override to just the discounted tickets only (i.e., the 1 free ticket in a BOGO offer) OR to all tickets in the discount parameters (i.e., both tickets in a BOGO offer). You’re also able to set the per ticket $ value on Payment Method ID overrides.
