Event and Offer Setup
Prerequisite: Ensure that you've completed the setup for your event and offer. You need to finish this to access all features under the offer tabs.Accessing the Buyer Details Tab
Navigate to the Buyer Details tab within your Event Dashboard
Scroll down to the section dedicated to promotional codes.
New Discount Code Creation: Select the option to create a new discount code.
Set Up Custom Discount
From the available dropdown options, select Custom Discount.
Switch the discount type from "Ticket Level" to Order Level.
Using the 'Percentage Offer' option, input the value '0'. This will ensure no actual discount is applied.
Note: This method has been identified as the most straightforward way to generate a non-discounted code, though other methods might be available.
Code Generation
Select the Use my own generic code option. This lets you set a customized, recognizable code.
Save the created discount.
Return to Offer Details: Navigate back to the Details tab located inside the offer section.
Navigate to Restriction Section: Scroll to locate the Restrict Offer section within the page.
Apply the Created Discount Code
Activate the Restrict by Discount option.
Choose the discount code you previously generated from the available list.
Finalize the Gated Offer: Save your offer settings.
Congratulations! You've successfully gated your offer using a non-discounted promotional code. Make sure to share this code only with the desired audience for exclusive access.
