Summary

Create multiple locations from within a customer's account if the invoice for each location is going to the same address/email address. If the invoices go to separate locations or people, then keep one location per account.

Key Points

  • From the customer's account, click Create a new... Service Location

  • Add the location address and other information

  • Repeat for additional locations

  • Manage service location statuses

  1. From the Dashboard, click Customers

  2. Click the customer who needs the update

  3. Click Create a New...

  4. Click Service Location

   5. Enter the information
   6. Click Save
   7. Repeat for additional locations

When a customer sells a property or no longer needs service, you can set the service location's status as Deactivated and prevent new work orders, invoices, estimates and service agreements from being created.

To set a location status to Deactivated, follow these steps:

  1. From the customer account, view the Service Location tab

  2. If the account has 2 or more locations, you will see a drop down arrow to the right of the VIEW button on all secondary locations (the primary location will not have this option)

  3. To Deactivate, click the drop down arrow and select Deactivate

Deactivated service locations will no longer be usable in creating new invoices, new work orders, new service agreements and new estimates. All future work orders will be hidden from the online calendar and mobile apps + appointment reminders will be deactivated. The deactivated service location status does not prevent an existing invoice or work order from being viewed, printed, emailed to a client and does not impact adding payments to satisfy unpaid invoices associated to the location.
