How to fix the microphone automatically adjusting volume?

For Windows and Mac users, check if the feature of automatically adjusting the microphone level has been enabled.

Here we go: under "recording devices", right click "USB PnP Audio Device"/"FIFINE A6V Microphone", choose "Properties", click "Enhancement", and uncheck the "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device".

Why: The "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" will make programs automatically lower your volume and adjust the settings, which you probably wouldn't like to change.

In some software like Discord, Skype, etc, you should also check if the mic is set to adjust automatically. Find the tab related to audio/video/voice, and you should be able to see the option to close the automatic volume.

How to reduce the microphone self-noise or background sound without using any software or plugin?

USB microphone in Fifine can be troubleshooted with the same method. So let's check out the troubleshooting video for K669B.

Background Noice

  1. Turn the mics back to the noise source.

  2. Go to computer sound settings and turn down the volume level of input and output to around 50%-75%.

  3. Adjust the on-board volume to 50%-75% and put the mic close to your mouth (about 3").

  4. Spend 15 bucks on an arm stand (a bit more expensive).

Humming/Hissing/Static

  1. Restart your computer and plug the mic into another USB port.

  2. Keep your smartphone, tablet, router, etc, away from the mic, especially don't place electronics on the cable of your mic.

  3. Had better not connect other electronic devices.

  4. Go to computer sound settings, and turn down the volume lever of input and output to around 50%-75%. Adjust the on-body volume knob to 50%-75% and put the mic close to your mouth (about 3").

  5. Keep your Fifine Microphone at a suitable angle.

⚠️For the latest Windows users, to access the sound setting, please right-click the speaker icon at the bottom right-choose "Sound", and click "Sound Control Panel" at the upper right of the pop-up window.

It picks up sound from the computer speakers during the Zoom calls. How to reduce such echo noises?

Instead of using speakers, either internal or external, please use headphones or earbuds to connect to your computer. Then the FiFine AV6 mic will not pick up sound from the output device, thus no more echo will be heard.

There's a delay in the microphone audio. How can I reduce it?

It might for the microphone monitoring is enabled accidentally. Try to follow these steps:
