The K053 microphone is not recognized
Check it out from the video and the step-by-step guide below. Windows setup is from 0:29 to 4:01, while the Mac setup is from 8:41 to 9:20
Windows:
After plugging the mic into your Windows, check if the mic is set as the default input device and if the USB PNP device appears.
If the USB Device Not Recognized / No USB PNP Audio Device appears in the sound settings
Test the mic on another computer and check if the USB PNP audio device appears.
No other PC available? Go to “Start Menu” < search “Control Panel” < “Device Manager” < “Universal Serial Bus controllers” < check if the “Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)” is in the list.
If the USB PNP audio device/ unknown USB device appears, right-click it and choose update driver software through to “Browse my computer for driver software”. Then click “Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer”.
Wait for a while, and your PC will have updated its software.
Go back to “Sound, video and game controllers” < right click “USB PNP audio Device” < “Uninstall”.
Restart your computer and plug the mic into another USB port.
Mac
Also, check if the mic is set as the default output device, and the USB PNP audio device appears.
If no USB PNP audio device appears in the sound settings:
Test the mic on another computer and check if the USB device appears.
No other computer available: unplug all the USB devices from your Mac and replug the mic from another USB port without using a USB hub.

FIFINE K053 is recognized, but no sound is heard.

USB PNP Audio Device does appear, but no sound comes out
Go to “Sound” and “Recording”, check if the volume level meter of your mic moves when you speak into the mic. Make sure your I/O devices are true, and also check that the I/O volume is not muted. Then you can adjust the level in “Properties”.
If still no change, test your mic on another PC. Or restart your PC and plug the mic into another USB port.
The USB PNP Audio Device appears, and the volume level meter moves, but still no sound
Go to “Playback” of the “Sound” Setting. Make sure the headphones you're using are the default. Click on the speaker icon and adjust the volume meter to check it’s not muted.
No sound on my Mac
You can follow the video below from 10:40 to 11:44.
Open QuickTime Player. Then, go to File, New Audio Recording. Click the arrow next to the record button, then choose USB PNP Audio Device. To monitor audio while recording, adjust the volume slider.
If you can't hear anything, test the K053 headphone jack with other headphones, so that we can tell if it's a problem with the K053 or the headphones.
After upgrading to Win 10, the microphone doesn't work
Follow the video below from 6:49 to 7:49.
Go to “Start”- “Settings”- “Privacy”- “Microphone”. Open the “Microphone Access for this device”. More important is to check if the “Allow apps to access your microphone” is on. Turn on it as well as the other apps you will need to use with this mic below. Finally, restart your computer.
