A timestamp is a sequence of characters or encoded information identifying when a certain event occurred, giving the date and time of day.

The term derives from rubber stamps used in offices to stamp the current date, and sometimes time, in ink on paper documents, to record when the document was received.

In the FIGJAM context a timestamp is placed on every job performed, recording the date and time - these will be found on the device user's FIGJAM app, in the job email notifications and in the FIGJAM Management Portal. Furthermore, GPS Tag is also linked to the jobs performed.
