Marketing page in Settings

This page provides the link up to your Campaign Monitor account, should you choose to have that integrated to your Figure account. Choosing this feature provides a seamless sync of the clients and groups in your Figure account, into your Campaign Monitor account, which can help with building tiered allocation groups and sending out timely wine release reminders.

Email Marketing Links
In the Beginner’s Checklist we mentioned the importance of adding a forward-slash at the end of your winery URL. This is the page where that comes into effect. For both the Campaign Monitor and MailChimp sections, the “Offering Link”, “Cart Link”, “Account Link”, and “Page Link” will allow you to integrate pre-authorized, secure tokenized links in your emails that grant clients login access without having to remember their password.

The links highlighted in yellow will generate once you have entered your company URL with the forward-slash at the end. Without that forward-slash, the pre-auth links will not work.

Configure Campaign Monitor
To establish the link between your Figure account and your Campaign Monitor account you need to copy and paste some IDs and Keys. The process can differ a little bit depending on the kind of account you have with Campaign Monitor.

-Log in to your Campaign Monitor account.
-Click on Client Settings in the upper right hand corner of the page (in some accounts, this will be in a drop down menu and be called “Account Settings”).
-In the upper left area of that page, next to your company name, you will click the Edit button (in some accounts, all you have to do is click on the “API Keys” button).
-A small window will appear and in the lower right corner you click on “Show client’s API info”.
-Copy the “Client ID” from the bottom and paste it into “Client ID” in your Figure account on the Settings>Marketing page.
-Copy the “Client’s API Key” from the bottom and paste it into the “API Key” in your Figure account on the Settings>Marketing page.
-Click the Update Custom Fields button in your Figure account to set those two in place. Wait for the Figure app to finalize those to settings.
-Click the Save Changes button in your Figure account.

-In the Lists & subscribers section of your Campaign Monitor account you will now see a list appear that says Customers (Sync with Figure - DO NOT DELETE)
-Click on that list and in the in the upper left area you will see that same list name with a line below it that says Single opt-in list (change name/type)
-Click (change name/type)
-At the bottom you will see the “API Subscriber List ID”, copy and paste that into the “List ID” of your Figure account on the Settings>Marketing page.
-Click Update Custom Fields to set that third piece into place.
-Click Save Changes.

-In your Figure account, go to the main Customers page.
-In the upper right corner area you will see an Export drop down menu button.
-Click that and select “Sync All Customers with Campaign Monitor”.
-With a small amount of customers in your Figure account this should complete in under 30 seconds. As your list grows it can take several minutes.

-The customers in your Figure account will now appear in your Campaign Monitor account.

**Very Important**Sync your Figure account with your Campaign Monitor account before sending any email campaign to ensure you are reaching all new client accounts.

-We cover additional features for syncing your Figure customer “Groups” in to Campaign Monitor “Segments” in the article titled, Setting up new segments in Campaign Monitor based on Groups in Figure
