While wineries utilize tiered Groups to designate a buyer’s status, retailers can utilize an export to keep track of multiple buyers for particular wines, so that when allocations arrive from importers and distributors, you can see who bought those wines in the past.

>Go to the main Products page.
>Select any number of products within a single Category by clicking the check box to the left of the product name.
>Click the drop down menu “Choose an Action” within that Category and there is an option for “Export Orders [.csv]”.
>This will download a .csv spreadsheet with a list of all the buyers who have bought that product(s).
>Save the file type as an .xls or .xlsx format so that you can retain any changes you make with sorting, filtering, bolding, or highlighting portions of the spreadsheet (.csv files don’t allow you to save formatting changes).
>You may have to move some columns around, but all the details are there, showing wines, SKUs, pricing, and quantities purchased.

Notes:
-There are three buttons at the top of the Products page: Products, Categories, Archive.
-“Products” shows the products that are currently in stock and/or showing on the website.
-“Archive” is where you should keep products that have sold out and have been moved out of current visible stock.
-We recommend whenever a product sells out, you move it from “Products” to “Archive” or you will end up with a ridiculous situation with hundreds of SKUs to sift through on the current products page.**
-You can export past buyers of a product from the archived list by clicking the “Archive” tab at the top of the Products page and following the same process.
-You cannot export products from several Categories at once. Nor from current products and archived products at the same time. You have to select products within one category and use the drop down box at the top of that category to export.

**To “Archive” a product once it has sold out, you click the check box at the left of the product name within a single category, click the “Choose an Action” drop-down menu and select Archive. You can select multiple products within one category and archive in bulk.

To learn more about the Archive feature, you can read the article titled, The main Products page.
