This concept benefits Figure platform users with the open cart sales module, both wineries and wine retailers.

Sometimes you would like to have particular products featured at the top of the commerce page of your open cart sales module, so that potential buyers see these first at the top of your list.

The best way to make this happen is to create a new Category called “Must See” or “Staff Picks” or “Weekly Special”.
>On the Products page, there are three buttons at the top left, “Products”, “Categories”, and “Archive”
>Click the Categories button.
>On the right side you will click “New Category”.
>Add the name you would like to call this new category and click the Create button.
>This will take you into another screen where you can add content to this new Category, yet it is not required.
>The default for the Category Status is “Active”, so that clients can see this section on your commerce page.

>Return to the Products page and click the Categories button again.
>You will see your new category at the bottom of the list.
>To move it to the top of the list, so it is viewed first on the commerce page, use your mouse to click, hold, and drag up the three horizontal lines on the right side of the Category name. This is the Reorder column and allows you to move your categories up and down the list. This reorder concept also applies to individual products on the Products page.

Adding Products to this new category:
>To now populate this new category with products, go to the main Products page.
>Click on a product to review its internal information/details.
>Scroll down to the Categories section.
>You can have a product in more than one category so feel free to leave it in its existing category and add it the newly category as well.
>This product should now be at the top of your commerce page.

Things to remember:
-A Category has to be “Active” for it to be visible on the commerce page.
-You don’t have to create a new category. If you always have a category named “New Releases” or “Current Release” then just move that category to the top of the category page using the reorder column as mentioned above. Then populate the wines within that category as you want them listed on the commerce site.
