While we never enjoy seeing a client request an exit from their Figure account to move their commerce needs to a new provider we understand that company operations, changes in focus, and new goals may not match what the Figure platform can offer.

**Very Important** — A 30 day notice to cancel your Figure account is needed.
That will allow our team to provide you with any assistance and/or special requests related to the process. We'll stop billing for services, deactivate the account, and remove the data when you let us know it's safe to do so. We recommend keeping the Figure account active for one month after the data migration is complete, as a backup.

The main piece that requires time and coordination is the transfer of credit card data from Stripe’s servers to your new credit card processing company. Credit card information can generally be securely extracted and sent from one provider to another (if supported), but does take some time to accomplish. Contact your new commerce provider and/or credit card processing company to initiate the process. They may already have experience in transferring this data from Stripe.

The majority of your operational data is available for download/export anytime you need on the “Your Data is Your Data” page (customers, products, order history, wine club membership data, etc). Those Excel spreadsheets can then be passed to your new provider for upload into the new commerce platform.

You will also want to make sure to export as many sales reports from the Reports page. If your accounting team needs monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for tax purposes, it is important to export all that data before your account is shut down.

**Very Important**If you have a website with Figure as well, which you wish to keep intact and active as your content management system, we are happy to discuss this option. Unfortunately, with several commerce platforms in the market, and unique parameters needed for integration, it is best we discuss your needs regarding ongoing support and development of the website.

Please reach out to ned@offsetpartners.com for further details or to initiate your 30 day notice.
