Our show current assignee feature allows you to see whose queue the work is in.

In other words, who needs to complete the current task for the work to move forward.

For Managers: It will tell you who is currently working on the project.

For Team Members: It will help you see which projects are in your queue and waiting for you to take action.

Sometimes you have multiple people on your team assigned to a single project, and it can be difficult to easily identify which team member is currently working on it from your workflow dashboard.

If you are tracking a lot of projects, it is time-consuming to click into every project individually to see whose hands it is currently in. That is why we have the "Show Current Assignee" filter.

Who exactly is the "current" assignee?

The current assignee is the team member who is assigned the current task that needs to be completed next in the process.

As seen below, Shahram is assigned to the next task "Review Work" so he is the current assignee.

When you apply the show current assignee filter, it will automatically hide the other assignees so you only see Shahram because the work is currently in his queue.

For Managers: It will tell you who is currently working on the project.

For Team Members: It will help you see which projects are in your queue and waiting for you to take action.
