Frequently asked questions

Why am I not seeing the right numbers?

In Reporting we offer a lot of different filter to slice and dice your data. These filter settings may however lead to not showing the data you want to see. Always first check the Filter button top right to see what is activated at this time.

If recent Actuals are not loading, this is probably because of the Last closed month setting.

  1. Make sure the Last closed month is set correctly in Setup > Admin. Any Actuals beyond this period will not be shown because of this setting.

If a Forecast scenario is not loading, we might not understand which scenario to retrieve.

  1. Make sure the correct Forecast is loaded. You will find this selector in the Calendar.

  2. Make sure the Forecast is tied to the right entities. Based on the entity filter, we will retrieve the corresponding scenario(s). Make sure to link the numbers in Setup > Forecast to the right entity or the group “All entities’ by the selector button top right.

Why is a specific page not working for me?

Unfortunately we can not offer all our platform functionality to all customers, mostly based on limitations of the ERP used as source for the Financial numbers.

Note that a limitation of functionality, such as download of invoices, might also be caused by missing permissions in the ERP.

Am I seeing the correct numbers?

When you expect Finstack is presenting incorrect numbers, do not hesitate to contact us to verify your case.

Some checks that you can perform are:

  • Is an import job running at the moment (see status info in left menu or in Setup > Sources) ?

  • Are any filters activated? Think about the calendar, forecast or entity filter, etc.

  • Which configuration is applied (eg. Adjustments, IC elimination) ?
