If your project is a Smart Order-based Subscription then you can set which shipping cost to charge on your orders. Shipping costs will be automatically added to every order, both initial signup orders and automatic recurring orders.
You can also set a Free shipping from threshold. This allows you to remove the shipping costs from orders that reach a certain order value.
Shipping costs are taxed with your default Project Tax Rate.
Note: This feature is currently in beta and not yet available for Product as a Service, lease, or rental-based projects. Please reach out to us if you want this feature enabled for your project.
Setting shipping costs on your orders
Steps
In your Firmhouse Project, go to Subscription Model in the sidebar.
Find the Shipping Costs section.
Enter the desired amount in the Shipping costs for orders field.
Click Update project at the bottom of the page.
Shipping costs are added to all orders from the moment that you set them. So (recurring) orders from existing and new customers will get these shipping costs applied.
Setting a "Free shipping from" amount
You can set a Free shipping from amount to allow for free shipping when the order has reached a certain minimum amount. The amount that the Free shipping from is compared with is the amount of all products and services on the other, after deducting any discounts.
Steps
In your Firmhouse Project, go to Subscription Model in the sidebar.
Find the Shipping Costs section.
Enter the desired amount in the Free shipping from field.
Click Update project at the bottom of the page.
