Link (or unlink) payroll

Step-by-step guide to linking & unlinking your payroll.

Our partnership with Finch allows us to link eligible payroll providers to Health Wallet Manager. This means you can automate contribution processing using your payroll data with a few button clicks!

Link Payroll

  1. In your Health Wallet Manager, select the Settings tab in the left-hand panel.

  2. Scroll down and look to the right side for the Contribution Handling section. There, select Synced Payroll as your method and then select Connect Payroll.

3. A Finch window will appear. Read through the appropriate text and select Continue when ready.

Note: Finch is a tool that allows us to link your payroll to the Health Wallet Manager.

4. When connecting to Finch, you'll be shown a list of permissions that will give us and Finch the ability to link your payroll to Health Wallet Manager. After reading through the appropriate text, select Continue when ready.

5. You'll then be asked to search for your provider. A list of Finch-compatible providers is listed here).

6. After finding your provider, you'll be directed to log in to your payroll provider admin account.

Note: Finch works most efficiently when the admin with the highest level of permissions is the one to sign in and sync payroll.

7. After you've signed into your payroll provider admin account, you'll be synced to payroll!

Unlink Payroll

Unlinking payroll providers from your Health Wallet Manager admin experience is as simple as two clicks!

  1. Select the Settings tab in the left-hand panel.

  2. Under the Payroll section, find Contribution Handling and select Disconnect.
