From Anchor to Firstory

This article will help you easily transfer your podcast from Anchor to Firstory.

Step 1: Get your RSS Feed from Anchor

  1. Sign into Anchor.

  2. Open "Settings."

  3. Select "Podcast Availability."

  4. Enable "Display personal email address publicly in RSS feed" under Advanced Settings and Save.

  5. After about 10 minutes, copy your RSS.

Step 2: Set up an account on Firstory and import your podcast

  1. Add a podcast and select to "Import existing podcast."

  2. Paste the RSS you just copied from Anchor.

  3. Check the show information and confirm that the program is yours.

  4. Copy the Firstory RSS provided.

Step 3: Redirect your podcast

  1. Return to Anchor's Podcast Availability page and scroll down to find "Redirect URL."

  2. Paste the Firstory RSS you just copied.

  3. Press "Redirect my podcast."

  4. After about 10 minutes, return to Firstory and select "Check Redirection."

  5. Success!
