With Firstory’s AI Episode Extraction, you can quickly generate a variety of extraction outputs for each episode. This makes it easy to repurpose your podcast content for newsletters, social posts, or exclusive subscriber materials, maximizing the value of your content.
Generate Episode Extractions
Go to the Episode Extraction tab and select the episode you want to process.
Click Extract to begin. The system will deduct credits from your account (each plan includes a monthly credit allowance).
Depending on the episode length, the extraction process takes about 5 to 15 minutes. Once complete, your results will be displayed.
When the extraction is ready, click Export content access to download the files in .csv, .srt, or .md format.
Extraction Outputs
The system will automatically generate the following based on your episode:
Summary: A quick overview of the episode’s main points.
Key Insights: Selected highlights and analysis from the episode.
Outline: A clear breakdown of the episode’s structure.
Mind Map: A visualized diagram to help understand the relationships between ideas.
Transcript: A full transcript with speaker separation.
Q&A: Automatically generated questions and answers based on the episode.
Keywords: Helpful for search optimization and content organization.

Q&A
Can I purchase additional credits if I run out?
This feature is not available at the moment. If you need more credits, we recommend upgrading to a higher-tier plan.
When do credits reset? Can unused credits roll over?
Extraction credits reset on the 1st of every month. Unused credits cannot be carried over to the next month.
