ACH (Electronic Funds Transfer) Availability
Most Firstrade accounts are eligible to set up ACH transfers, with the exception of Simple IRAs, SEP-IRAs, Beneficiary IRAs, and Investment Club accounts.
For Individual, Joint, IRA, ESA, or Custodial accounts, an ACH bank profile can be established online; please log in to your account, then go to Accounts > Deposit/Transfer > Bank Profile to get started.
Important notes:
ACH deposits to Education Savings Accounts (ESA) can be submitted online. However, withdrawals must be requested using the ESA Distribution Form, available in our Form Center.
You may be asked to complete additional verification when linking a joint bank account to an individual Firstrade account.
