🛠 Troubleshooting Data Sync Issues with FitFocus
If you've seen a message like “Data sync issue detected”, it means there’s a problem syncing your health data with FitFocus. Don’t worry—here’s a step-by-step guide to resolve it quickly.
1. ✅ Check App Permissions
Ensure FitFocus has the required permissions to access your health data:
iPhone:
Go to Settings → Privacy → Health → FitFocus
Make sure all permissions are enabled
Android:
Open Settings → Apps → FitFocus → Permissions → Health Connect
Confirm all relevant permissions are granted
2. 🔄 Enable Background Sync
FitFocus syncs in the background to keep your data up to date.
iPhone:
Go to Settings → General → Background App Refresh
Find FitFocus and toggle ON
Android:
Go to Settings → Apps → FitFocus → Battery
Set to Unrestricted
3. 🌐 Check Data Connection Settings
Make sure the app is allowed to use internet data:
iPhone:
Go to Settings → FitFocus → Cellular Data
Toggle ON
Android:
Open Settings → Apps → FitFocus → Mobile data & WiFi
Ensure both options are enabled
4. ⌚️ Wearable Device Configuration
If you’re using a wearable device, check the following:
Ensure your wearable is paired correctly with your phone
Verify that the companion app is installed and updated
Confirm that it’s authorised to share data with Apple Health or Google Health Connect
Try syncing manually through the wearable’s companion app
