Checklist for team member onboarding

Here's a structured checklist you can use for onboarding new caregivers on Fitmedik

  • Provide Access to Fitmedik

    • On your web app, navigate to Team on the left sidebar.

    • Click Add Team Member in the top-right corner.

    • Enter the new caregiver's details; they will immediately receive a sign-up email.



    Policy & Procedure Guidance

    • Inform caregivers they can ask the AI assistant real-time questions about policies and procedures.

    • Encourage them to try with practical scenarios (e.g., "A resident fell, what steps should I follow?").



    Creating Alerts

    • Demonstrate how caregivers can assign tasks using the AI assistant.

    • Guide them to try creating an alert and tagging recipients by typing '@'.

    • Emphasize the rule: noTAG, no ALERT.



    Managing Alerts

    Explain clearly:

    • Pending Alerts: Tasks assigned specifically to them, requiring completion (first priority).

    • Open Alerts: General tasks that require claiming and then completion (second priority).



    Accessing Support

    • Remind caregivers that support is available 24/7 via text.

    • Web App: Click Support on the left sidebar.

    • Mobile App: On the homepage, tap Wellbeing at the top, scroll down, and select Help Center.
