If a new event is to be created, an event type must be selected. This is important in order to display the event correctly and create the correct products.

Class

Classes” are regularly held events without a specific start and end date. You can join at any time.

Example: Morning sport. The "Morning sport" class takes place three times a week from 7:00 am to 8:00 am. Anyone who is interested can participate spontaneously at any time.

Appointment

"Appointments" are special time slots (blocks) that you can create for individual appointments with one or more clients.

You have two options for creating appointments: As private appointments without the possibility of online booking or as online bookable appointments/ time slots.

The creation of "appointments" works differently in FitogramPro than with other types of events. How to create an appointment is explained here.

Example: Personal training, consultations, massages etc.

Special Event

"Special Events" are events like courses, workshops, retreats or preventions. There is a planned start and end date and it is not necessarily possible to join at any time. Special Events often have a very limited number of participants and take place over a short period of time. They can also be events/units for only one person - these include personal training sessions, nutritional advice or massages.

Example Course: Marathon preparation. The "Marathon preparation" course takes place several times a year over several weeks. However, there is still a start and end date. A later start is possible, but not recommended, as the level of difficulty increases every week.

Example Workshop: Massages for beginners. "Massages for beginners" is a workshop that takes place over a certain weekend and lasts several hours. This workshop is a "special event" which only takes place every so often.

Example Retreat: Yoga Trip. The "Yoga Trip" is an event lasting several days during which you can leave everyday life behind you. Spontaneous participation is not often encouraged here.

Example Preventions: Health insurance course. The "Health insurance course" is supported by the health insurance of the participants. Participants must complete a certain number of units.

Free Training (formerly known as Open Training)

"Free Training" means that customers can train as they wish without set trainers or instructions. For this reason, the settings for the trainer and maximum number of participants are not required for this event type.
Please note: this type is only visible in the Urban Sports Club app!
