Mobile Workouts: How to Opt Into the Beta

Learn how to turn on Mobile Workouts and start training from your phone

FitXR now offers Mobile Workouts, a beta feature that brings personalized training to your phone, no headset required.

What are Mobile Workouts?

Unlike a fixed class, each Mobile Workout is built fresh every time you open the app. Moves are pulled from a catalog of exercises and matched to your available equipment, your ability level, and what you've trained recently, so you won't get the same workout twice.

Your workouts adapt over time, introducing new movements and evolving with you as you progress. No two journeys look the same.

How to turn on Mobile Beta

  1. From the Home Screen, tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner.

  2. Go to Journey and toggle Mobile Beta ON.

  3. Head to Mobile Workouts, where you can choose your coach and select the equipment you have available.

  4. Go back to your Journey Home Screen, you'll now see your Workout of the Day.

Finding your Mobile Workout

If your Workout of the Day shows as Cardio, Strength, Core, or Mobility, you're already set up with a Mobile Workout.

If you see a different workout type, tap into it and look for Change to Mobile in the top right corner. Doing so will instantly switch your daily workout to a Mobile Workout.

Why try it

  • Counts toward your streak. Mobile Workouts count just like your headset sessions, so you can keep your daily streak going.

  • Great for travel or tight schedules. No headset? No problem, switch to Mobile whenever it's more convenient.

  • Adds variety. Mix Mobile Workouts into your routine alongside headset sessions for a more well-rounded training program.

Ready to give it a go? Switch on Mobile Beta and get started with your next workout.

IMPORTANT: If you subscribed to FitXR after September 1, you won't see the toggle to opt in yourself. Instead, your account will automatically be placed into one of two groups as we continue testing and refining this feature. This won't affect your subscription or any other part of your FitXR experience.
