How to access lower impact classes designed to be taken from a seated position

Of course, we have two ways to make classes more accessible for a seated position.

Seated Classes

Firstly, we have a selection of classes in the Box and HIIT studios that have been designed with a seated position in mind (whether that's from a wheelchair, or other stable seated position). To find those, you can either head to the Collections tab from your Home View, and select the "Seated Collection" (this is on page 3) - or you can use the search function on top right of the Home View to look up the word "Seated", which will pull up all other applicable classes.

These classes can be taken from either a seated or standing position, but they've been designed so that lower body movement isn't required to complete them.

Disable Squats Setting

Secondly to that, as part of our Class Settings you're able to turn off squats for any Box class. Disabling this setting remove the squats and slips (horizontal and diagonal blue dodge bars). This will leave you with only the upper body movements - jab, cross, hook, and uppercut.

To do that, all you need to do is choose the Box class you want to take, and then before you hit "Start Class" head to the Settings icon on the right (the small cog).

From there, you'll be shown the Box Class Settings popup. Here you can toggle certain features on or off - in this case we're looking at the Squats function, but you can also use this menu to toggle things like Focus Mode.
