How do I enable voice chat in multiplayer classes?

Chatting with friends is a great way to boost your workouts.

Voice chat is automatically enabled in multiplayer lobbies, providing you've given FitXR permission to use your mic.

How do I know if I've given permission?

When you enter a room for the first time, you will receive a prompt asking for permission to enable your microphone.

If you don’t receive this prompt, but instead see that your mic is muted (

), then you will need to click this icon next to your name. You’ll then receive another pop-up asking for permission to enable your microphone. Select “Allow” and you’ll now be able to speak with your friends!

Voice chat will then be enabled from this point on and throughout the entire class, unless you decide to mute yourself and others. If you want to do that, we've written a guide here that explains how.

NB: You must be over the age of 13 to use voice chat. Anyone under 13 will be automatically muted and won’t be able to hear the other players.
