Searching and filtering classes

How to search for classes, and how to use the filter bar

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Explore tab makes it easy to find the type of workout you’re looking for. You can search for specific classes by name, or use filters to browse workouts based on different categories such as studio, difficulty, duration, and more.

Using filters is a great way to quickly narrow down the library and find sessions that match your mood, time, or training goals.

How to Search for a Workout

If you already know the name of the class you're looking for, you can search for it directly.

  1. From the Home view, tap on the Explore tab at the bottom.

  2. On the Explore page, select the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner.

  3. Type the name of the class you want to find.

Please note: the search function looks for class names only, not other attributes such as studio type, trainer, or difficulty.

How to Use Filters

Filters allow you to browse and narrow down workouts based on different characteristics.

  1. From the Home view, tap on the Explore tab at the bottom.

  2. At the top right corner, tap on Filter.

  3. Select the filter category you want to use, such as workout type, difficulty, or duration.

  4. Tap the blue Apply button at the bottom.

The workout list will automatically update to show classes that match the filters you selected.

Sticky Filters

FitXR includes Sticky Filters, a feature designed to make browsing workouts easier.

After applying your filters by tapping the blue Apply button, a list of workouts matching your selection will appear. At the top of this list, you will see which filters are currently active. To the left of those filters, there is a lock icon.

If the icon shows an open lock, the filters will reset when you leave the Explore page. If you tap the icon and it changes to a closed lock, this means Sticky Filters are enabled, and your selected filters will remain active even if you leave the Explore page and return later.

This allows you to keep your preferred filters in place until you decide to change or clear them.
