Managing your integrations is key to keeping your workspace organised and efficient. If you no longer need a specific API connected to your FiveX account, you can remove the connection with a few easy steps.
When Should You Remove an API Connection?
You may want to remove an API connection if:
You’ve stopped using the service it connects to
You’re switching to a different integration
You need to reset and reconnect with updated credentials
Steps to Remove an API Connection
Follow these simple steps to remove an API connection from FiveX:
Go to Settings in your FiveX dashboard
Click on API Connections
Select the API you want to remove
Click on API Configuration
Choose Remove API
⚠️ Important: When you remove an API connection, all associated data—including historical records—will be permanently deleted from your FiveX account.
It is the client’s responsibility to download and back up any important data before proceeding with disconnection.
Once removed, the API will no longer sync data with FiveX, and the related metrics or reporting will no longer be available.
