Return Costs in FiveX

How FiveX Handles Returns:

  1. When a return occurs, the returned product's revenue is added as a cost on the original order date, canceling out the order and return.

  2. Shipping, pick, and pack costs are recorded as non-refundable return shipment costs in the system.

  3. We recommend adding return product costs for items that can't be resold:

    • Most users set this at 30% of the purchasing costs

    • This accounts for approximately 30% of returned products that must be disposed of

Adding Return Product Costs to FiveX:

A. Bulk Import:

  1. Download the template from the FiveX page

  2. Enter costs

  3. Upload the spreadsheet

B. Individual Product:

  1. Go to "Products" and select the product

  2. Click "Adjust Calculation"

  3. Enter return product costs

  4. Changes save automatically
