How does the Workflows feature work?

Workflows is a powerful tool to transition your content between environments and approval statuses to suit your project’s needs.

You can create custom workflows, assign them to new or existing schemas, and link user permissions to Workflow statuses.

Due to the dynamic nature of how content could be crafted for the optimal user experience, Workflows facilitate publication of content in two different ways

  1. Default - Useful for single type environments, for example, “Production” or “Desktop” & “Mobile”

  2. Linked Environments - Useful for promoting content from one environment to another, for example, “Staging” and “Production”

We will cover both scenarios mentioned above in order to understand which would work best for you.
