Manufacturer Role on Flameplace

The Manufacturer role is central to Flameplace and designed for interior product factories and artisanal producers operating in the professional and premium market segments. It offers the most comprehensive set of tools and commercial capabilities on the platform, reflecting the real-world influence and responsibilities of manufacturers.

Who Can Be a Manufacturer?

This role is for:

  • Furniture and interior product factories

  • Artisanal or small-batch producers working in high-end segments

⚠️ Flameplace does not accept manufacturers operating at or below the mass-market level (e.g., IKEA-tier pricing), due to major differences in supply workflows and commercial expectations.

Available Tools and Capabilities

Manufacturers enjoy the broadest toolset on the platform:

  • Catalog Editor – build and manage a structured, searchable catalog for made-to-order items

  • Stock Showcase – display available products in warehouses and showrooms for immediate sale

  • Project Studio – create or participate in interior design and B2B projects

  • Commercial Office – generate specifications, proformas, and packing lists for each segment of a project

  • Portfolio – showcase realized or conceptual projects

  • Community – post news (e.g., collection launches, price changes), events (e.g., fairs, showroom openings), and expert articles

  • Messenger – collaborate with all participants of a transaction, from clients to agents

These tools reflect every key step of a manufacturer’s business process — digitized.

Multi-Role Flexibility

Manufacturers can take on additional roles when needed:

  • As Suppliers – request proformas from other manufacturers when coordinating external products (e.g., adding third-party lighting to a furniture-led project)

  • As Designers – offer design services using in-house or external designers

When this happens, the company is listed in multiple categories (Manufacturer, Supplier, Designer) and can manage its service scope via the company settings.

Control Over Pricing and Access

Manufacturers control visibility and access to their product pricing:

  • Choose to hide catalog prices from the public

  • Allow partner companies to request access or grant it automatically through partnerships

  • Private clients cannot request prices directly and must go through Suppliers — just like in the real market

This protects commercial integrity while encouraging transparent collaboration.

Build Strategic Relationships

Manufacturers can:

  • Assign official roles to other companies, such as:

    • Official Partners

    • Exclusive Distributors

    • Regional Representatives

  • Join or lead Сonsortiums (e.g., CIAC Export, GIMO Group)

These relationships boost trust, expand reach, and support structured deal-making.

Manufacturers with exclusive distributors are automatically linked to projects created in those territories.

💎 Flameplace doesn’t change how manufacturers do business - it enhances it. With powerful tools, smart partner logic, and direct control over commercial processes, the Manufacturer role brings production leadership into the digital age.
