💬 What are Price Notes?
Price notes are editable text fields you can use to explain:
What exactly is included in the base price (e.g. packaging, finishes)
Which elements may incur extra charges (e.g. customizations, delivery)
Minimum order quantities or lead times
Whether prices are valid ex works, FOB, or DDP
Any special promotional terms
These notes will be visible to your clients directly inside the catalog — ensuring fewer misunderstandings and smoother project management.
🧾 Adding Global Notes to Your Catalog
You can add general pricing terms and delivery conditions using the Price Details button at the top of your Catalog Editor.
Click Price Details in the top bar of the Catalog Editor
Use the rich text field to describe your general terms
Optionally upload a supporting PDF with technical or legal information, as well as images or photos of finish samples and upholstery options
Click Save
These global notes apply to your entire catalog and are accessible on every item page.
🛠️ Contextual Price Info at Item Level
Each product in your catalog can also contain price-related details that are shown alongside the price itself:
Material
Dimensions
Notes
Clients will see this data when browsing your products and selecting price options. You can use these fields to reinforce delivery expectations, define specific finishes, or add explanations such as:
"As photo – including brass finish and marble top. Delivery within 60 days from confirmation."
💬 Many manufacturers use internal codes to identify finishes and upholstery options. Price notes are ideal for decoding those references. By uploading an explanation of how to interpret these codes — along with photos of finishes and fabrics tied to each code — you help clients clearly understand the differences between each price option.
🔒 Visibility of Notes and Legal Clarity
Price notes are visible to all users who have access to your catalog prices. If prices are hidden from public access, the notes won’t be shown either. This ensures consistent messaging and avoids confusion.
For further legal protection, you may include:
Disclaimer language (e.g. prices are indicative and subject to change)
Currency and tax terms (e.g. VAT included/excluded)
A well-documented price strategy builds trust and reduces back-and-forth with partners and clients.
