iOS 16 created some major issues with Focus Lock's original functionality, and we were forced to move away from using an MDM profile. Focus Lock has since been updated to take advantage of new features in iOS 16 and. as a result, it requires devices running iOS 16 or later to function properly. If you are using an older version of iOS on your device, Focus Lock will no longer work.

Can I still use the app on my older device?

Unfortunately, the app will not work on devices running an operating system earlier than iOS 16. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

What new features can I expect in the app with this update?

The app now integrates with Apple's Screen Time feature, allowing you to block specific apps for a period of time. You can now also customize which apps you want to block, and soon you'll be able to schedule your Focus Lock session.

How can I update my device to iOS 16?

You can update your device to iOS 16 by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Your device will check for updates and give you the option to install the latest version of iOS.

Will this change affect any other apps by Flipd Inc.?

This change only affects the Focus Lock app. Other apps developed by Flipd Inc. will continue to function as normal on older versions of iOS.
