What is the recommended configuration for a Kiosk?
Collection/Pickup needs to be enabled on the store level.
The Store linked to the kiosk needs to have a bank account associated, verified, and from the same country as the store.
The store needs to have the correct postal code, address and PIN location (The same as the Kiosk location).
When the option 'Pay at counter' is given to the Kiosk user, 'Cash' needs to be enabled on the store settings and on the Kiosk settings.
The store needs to have opening hours for Collection/Pickup.
The amount in the order should be higher than the minimum 'Collection/Pick up' amount.
For the Kiosk to start accepting orders, it needs to have either 'Cash/Pay at counter' enabled (Kiosk and store settings as mentioned above) or a card reader connected to it.
Kiosk menus are created the same way as any other Flipdish menu configuration.
Where do the Kiosk pictures come from, and how can I change them?
The logo on the home screen, which appears when the 'Start Order' button is visible, is automatically set to match your store logo.
You can update this logo from the Flipdish portal by following these steps:
Go to Sales Channels > Kiosks > Sales Channel
Click on the sales channel linked to the kiosk
Navigate to Kiosk Settings
Click on the "Logo" section
Replace it with the logo you'd prefer to display
Once the new logo has been applied, click "Save"
After saving the logo, reboot the Kiosk and the updated logo will be reflected on the kiosk screen
The background images displayed on the kiosk home screen (when the ‘Start Order’ button is visible) are pulled from the Flipdish portal section:
Sales Channels > Kiosks > Settings > Kiosk Home Screen Customisation

The pictures displayed on your Kiosk menu are pulled from your Flipdish portal menu page.
To display images on 'Option Sets', please send the images to 'help@flipdish.com' with the option set names.
When having multiple stores linked to the same kiosk:
The background images on the home screen (previously shown behind the ‘Start Order’ button) will no longer be visible. Instead, there will be a landing page displaying each store's logo. After selecting a store, the menu will then be displayed.
To change the store logo:
Go to Sales Channels > Kiosks > Sales Channel
Click on the sales channel linked to the kiosk
Navigate to Kiosk Settings
Click on the "Logo" section
Upload and replace it with the preferred logo
Once the new logo has been applied, click "Save"
After saving, reboot the Kiosk — the updated logo will then appear.
On the landing page, the logo displayed at the top right is the Brand Logo.
You can update it by following these steps:
Go to Flipdish Portal > Settings > Organisation > Organisation Settings
Click on the "Logo" section
Upload and replace it with the preferred logo
Once the new logo has been applied, click "Save"
The landing page background color can be changed by navigating to:
Flipdish Portal > Sales Channels > Kiosks > Settings > Kiosk Home Screen Customisation > Branding Settings > Primary Button Colour.
