How do I use Price Comparison to research item prices?

To research what an item is selling for, go to Tools > Price Comparison, enter the item name, and see recent sold prices across platforms to help you price competitively.

Three Ways to Search

Text Search

  1. Go to Tools > Price Comparison

  2. Type the item name or keywords in the search bar

  3. View price results from recent sales

Barcode Scan

  1. Go to Tools > Price Comparison

  2. Tap the barcode icon in the search bar

  3. Point your camera at the item's barcode

  4. Flippd looks up the product and shows pricing data

Image Search

  1. Go to Tools > Price Comparison

  2. Tap the camera icon

  3. Take a photo of the item or choose from your library

  4. Flippd identifies the item and shows comparable prices

What You'll See

  • Recent sold prices for similar items

  • Price ranges (low, average, high)

  • Condition filter -- Narrow results by item condition

  • Sort options -- Sort by relevance, price, or date

  • Data to help you decide what to list your item for

When to Use It

  • Before buying -- Check if an item has a good resale value

  • Before listing -- Price your item competitively based on real data

  • When repricing -- See if the market has changed since you originally listed

  • While sourcing -- Scan barcodes at thrift stores to quickly check value

  • Price Comparison uses real market data to give you accurate pricing insights

  • Combine with the Profit Calculator to check both market price and your actual profit
