> Coming Soon -- Bulk Purchases is currently in development and has not been launched yet. This article describes the planned feature. We'll update this page and notify you when it's available.
Bulk Purchases helps you track liquidation pallets, wholesale lots, mystery boxes, and other multi-item buys. Link individual inventory items to a purchase to see your total investment, profit, and ROI across the entire lot.
What Are Bulk Purchases?
When you buy a pallet, lot, or bundle of items, Bulk Purchases lets you:
Record the total cost and shipping
Track the purchase status (ordered, shipped, received, processing, complete)
Link individual inventory items to the purchase
See combined financials -- total cost, revenue, profit, and ROI for the entire lot
Add notes, tags, and supplier information
Creating a Bulk Purchase
Navigate to the Bulk Purchases section
Tap Add Bulk Purchase
Enter the purchase details:
Name -- A description of the lot (e.g., "Amazon Returns Pallet #42")
Cost -- Total purchase price
Shipping Cost -- Delivery and freight charges
Supplier -- Where you bought it
Purchase Type -- Pallet, lot, bundle, mystery box, storage unit, or other
Source -- Platform or location (e.g., Liquidation.com, B-Stock, local auction)
Tap Save
Adding Items to a Purchase
Once you've created a purchase, you can add items two ways:
Scan & Add -- Scan barcodes to create new items and automatically link them to the purchase. Product details are looked up automatically.
Add Existing Items -- Search and select items already in your inventory to link them to the purchase.
Items linked to a bulk purchase show the purchase association in their detail view.
Tracking Financials
The purchase detail screen shows combined financials for all linked items:
Total Cost -- Purchase price + shipping
Cost Per Item -- Total cost divided by number of items
Listed / Sold / Total -- Progress through your inventory
Revenue -- Total sales from linked items
Profit -- Revenue minus total cost
ROI -- Return on investment percentage
Recovery Rate -- How much of your investment you've recovered
Purchase Status
Track where each purchase is in your workflow:
Ordered -- Purchase placed, waiting for shipment
Shipped -- In transit
Received -- Delivered, ready to process
Processing -- Sorting, listing, and photographing items
Complete -- All items processed and listed
Good to Know
Each inventory item can be linked to one bulk purchase at a time
Unlinking an item from a purchase does not delete the item
You can add items to a purchase at any time -- you don't have to add them all at once
The ROI rating (star display) gives you a quick visual indicator of how the lot is performing
Bulk purchases support all the same source options as regular inventory items
