Using the the Sensitivity Slider

To access your Sensitivity Slider, open your Flo by Moen App, select your device under My Devices, then go to Device Settings > Alert Settings > Advanced.

What is the Sensitivity Slider?

The Sensitivity Slider in your Flo by Moen App allows you to adjust how sensitive your Smart Water Shutoff is to unusual activity. By altering its sensitivity, you’re in control of your Shutoff Device’s responsiveness to water activity outside of your usual habits.

If you feel you are getting too many unwanted alerts, simply decrease your Shutoff’s sensitivity by sliding the bar to the left. This will result in a higher threshold for unusual water use.

If you want to increase the Shutoff's sensitivity to leaks and are not receiving unwanted alerts, slide the sensitivity bar to the right. This will result in a lower threshold and more precision.
