If you've lost access to your Float account, there are a couple of ways in which we can help you recover your user credentials.

Do you have access to your backup codes?

When you signed up to 2-Factor Authentication, you would have been prompted to save your 8-digit single-use backup codes. By using one of these backup codes, you will be able to recover access to your account.

You can read more about backup codes here.

Do you have multiple users on your Float account?

If so, another user on your account is able to remove you from the account (this will not impact the data in Float), and add you as a new user in order for you to set up your new credentials.

Or, if other users do not have the permissions to remove you, please ask your fellow user to contact us via support from within their account and we can work with them to resolve the issue.

Are you the only user on the account?

If so, please contact our support team who will work with you to resolve the issue.
