How to: Schedule an Install

Step-by-step guide on scheduling a new installation in Floorzap, including selecting dates, assigning contractors, and managing installation details.


Note: If an installer hasn’t been assigned yet, you can select a TBD (To Be Determined) installer and still click Mark as Ready to Schedule. This ensures the job is flagged for scheduling while the installer is finalized.

Step 1: Navigate to the work order and click on Contractor.

Step 2: Click on Actions.

Step 3: Select your Contractor.

Step 4: Click on Okay.

Step 5: Set the Installation Date.

Step 6: Mark the order as Ready to Schedule.

Step 7: Add the order to the Schedule.

Step 8: Select the Date for the schedule.

Step 9: Choose the Day and select an End Date.

Step 10: Send an SMS to the contractor and the customer based on your preferences.

Step 11: You have the option to Turn Off the notifications.

Step 12: Click on Save to schedule the contractor.

Step 13: View the job details from within the work order.

Step 14: Go back into the work order to view the job details and send them to the contractor.

Step 15: Once the job is complete, mark it as Labor Complete.

Step 16: Mark the contractor as Ready for Payment.
