How to Add an Inventory Adjustment

In this article, you'll learn how to adjust your product inventory.


Step 1: Start by navigating to your product stock page.

Step 2: Find the items you're looking to adjust.

Step 3: Click on the Inventory tab located at the top of the page.

Step 4: Ensure that you have existing inventory for adjustment.

Step 5: Choose the PO (Purchase Order) that requires adjustment.

Step 6: Click on the Inventory Adjustment tab.

Step 7: Click on Add New.

Step 8: Decide whether to add or reduce inventory. In this case, we're adding to the inventory.

Step 9: Add 10 pieces to the inventory.

Step 10: Leave a comment for reference, then click Save.

And that's it! You've successfully adjusted your product inventory.

When material moves from Allocated to Prepared status (staged for dispatch), the Allocated quantity resets to 0. This is expected - the material has progressed past reservation to the next stage. To see the full committed quantity, check the Actual Allocation column, which combines both Allocated and Prepared.
