If you encounter an "unauthorized" message during authentication, your account has not yet been added to the API.

How to Connect Your Google Calendar to Floorzap
Step 1: Navigate to Settings.
Step 2: Select Integrations.
Step 3: Choose Google Calendar.
Step 4: Click on Authenticate.
Step 5: Grant the necessary permissions to access your Google Calendar. We suggest using one main Google Calendar for this purpose.
Step 6: Click on Allow.
Step 7: From the drop-down menu, select your Google Calendar.
Step 8: Enable Google Calendar Sync and Notifications Assessment.
Step 9: Click on Save.
Once you've followed these steps, your account will sync with your Google Calendar.
If done correctly, all tasks set up on this calendar will transfer to your Google Calendar. Salespeople will receive an email notification to add their individual tasks to their designated calendars.
The sync is one‑directional. Changes made in Google Calendar will not sync back into Floorzap.
Best Practices for Teams
Floorzap supports one Google Calendar per account. If you have multiple salespeople or installers, here's the recommended setup.
Recommended: Use a Shared Company Calendar
Create a single Google Calendar for your business (e.g., "FloorCo Installations").
Share that calendar with all salespeople and relevant staff in Google.
Connect that company calendar to Floorzap.
Enable Send email to salesman in Floorzap settings so each salesperson receives individual email notifications for their appointments.
This way, everyone sees what they need in their own Google Calendar, and Floorzap stays in sync with one source of truth.
What Doesn't Work
You cannot connect multiple separate Google Calendars to one Floorzap account.
You cannot authenticate the same calendar twice.
Individual salespeople cannot each connect their own separate Google Calendars.
