The Assign Skid option, found under Work Order Actions in Floorzap, lets you link a specific inventory skid — a pallet or grouped bundle of materials — to a work order. This makes it easy for warehouse staff and installers to identify, stage, and pick up the correct materials for each job.
Note: Skids must be created in System Settings before they can be assigned to work orders. See the setup steps below.

Setting Up Skids
Before you can assign skids to work orders, they need to be created in your system.
Go to Settings → System Lists → Skids.
Add the skids you want to make available for work order assignment.
Once created, they will appear as options when using Assign Skid under Work Order Actions.
