We know cancellations are sometimes unavoidable. However, last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours of a shift start time) can be challenging for care teams, services and residents.

  • If you cancel a shift with < 24 hours notice You’ll be charged a cancellation fee. This fee goes toward paying the healthcare provider who may have already made arrangements or traveled to the appointment. Please speak to your account manager for more details.

  • If you cancel three shifts last minute If you cancel three times less than 24 hours before shift start in any 30 day period, Florence reserves the right to put your account on hold.

  • If a healthcare provider doesn’t attend a shift If a booked nurse or PSW does not attend a shift they’ve booked, their account will be immediately suspended for 3 months.
