What the tool does

When you enter two lists, the tool automatically compares them and generates structured outputs such as:

  • Unique in List 1 – Terms that only appear in the first list.

  • Unique in List 2 – Terms that only appear in the second list.

  • In Both Lists – The intersection: terms appearing in both lists.

  • All Unique Items – Merges both lists and removes duplicates.

  • All Items (Deduplicated) – A complete combined list without repeated values.

This gives you a clear overview of how your lists relate to each other.

Options & Features

The tool includes several filters and sorting options to help you structure your output:

  • Case sensitivity — Compare terms exactly as written.

  • Alphabetical sorting — Sort results from A–Z or Z–A.

  • Length sorting — Order items by word or phrase length.

  • Export options — Quickly download results for deeper analysis or import into other tools.

When to use it

The Compare Lists Tool is ideal for:

  • Cleaning up keyword lists before uploading into ad platforms

  • Comparing historic vs. new search terms

  • Understanding overlaps between campaigns or ad groups

  • Preparing negative keyword structures

  • Auditing client keyword lists

It’s a simple but powerful utility to keep your search structures clean and efficient.
